Wellington’s Best Brunch & Lunch Spots

Wellington is setting the bar high with capital culinary experiences. Try French toast with Nutella mousse and orange caramel, or classic hummus and haloumi. These are just a few of the best brunches and lunches to enjoy on your next voyage to the capital.

Flight Coffee Hangar

It’s hard to read any review of Wellington’s best cafes without coming across The Hangar. This place is the vegan and vegetarians delight with savoury dishes like the above hummus and haloumi toast, and sweet french toast with maple tofu cream. The Hangar is also home to Wellington’s Flight Coffee, so whatever you’re after you’re sure to find it here.

Plum

If you’re in need of a hangover cure, German inspired Plum is the place to go. On the menu you’ll find Bratwurst and Grolsch along with Bloody Mary’s, Mimosa’s and hearty big breakfasts for vegetarians too.

The Arborist Rooftop Bar & Eatery

After you’ve been for breakfast you’ll probably want to come back for drinks too, because that’s right they have a rooftop bar. The food is good and the interiors are insta-worthy. I highly recommend the French Toast, complemented by Nutella mousse and orange caramel, plus the coffee hits the spot too.
